TeX resources

This page contains information about TeX including LaTeX and other related topics. It is intended as a convenient source of departmental documents as well as links to other sites. If you would like anything added please email me. I would particularly like to link to any documents produced for departmental consumption by undergraduates, postgraduates or staff.

LaTeX

Basic LaTeX

AMS-LaTeX

The best way to typeset mathematics, gives much better mathematics commands than LaTeX itself and is now widely used by journals and in publishing books, so using it may reduce the need to make changes for publication.

amsrefs:

In the amsrefs LaTeX package, the bibliography style is controlled completely through LaTeX instead of being determined partly by a BibTeX style file and partly through LaTeX. MathSciNet provides data formatted for both Bibtex and amsrefs.
